India's first Super car...DC Avanti

The well known Indian automotive design house, DC Design has unveiled its super car Avanti

The Indian automotive design house, DC Design has unveiled its supercar called the Avanti. According to reports, the car has been named after the Studbaker Avanti that appeared in Tintin comics. The idea behind the Avanti,  which means 'forward' in Italian, is to make affordable supercars and the car is                                                                expected to be priced at Rs 30 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Concept XA Alpha Revealed...

The Maruti Suzuki Concept XA Alpha was revealed at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi. The Alpha seems to be a decently capable on and off roader, built to absorb bad patches of road with ease. The muscular stance of the Alpha such as the beefy protruding wheel arches and the neatly chiseled bonnet lines are said to be derived from the Indian wrestling tradition, typically with big muscles, strong men and tricky body locking to win the battle of brawn. 

  

• 1.3 litre of K-Series fiat multi-jet diesel engine in production model.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga - Auto Expo 2012

Maruti has unveiled Ertiga MPV at the Delhi Auto Expo, marking the carmaker’s entry in the Utility Vehicle segment. Powered by next generation K-series 1.4litre V V T engine, Ertiga will offer a mileage of 16.02 kmpl. It will be available in diesel variant as well, powered by the 1.3 DDiS engine inherited from SX4. It will give a mileage of 20.77 kmpl. Built on an extended Swift platform, the Ertiga is said to be launched by the end of the first quarter and will slot in below the Innova and Xylo both in size and price.

Volvo XC90 loses two-tone body, adds more options for 2013

Volvo refreshed its XC90 SUV for the 2013 model year. The Swedish automaker says it's the most significant update since the vehicle's debut a decade ago.

At the top of the list--for us anyway--is the deletion of the lower body cladding. The new model will be color-coordinated from roof to side skirts. LED daytime running lights were added, while the 3.2-liter model gets a new silver front bumper bar, chrome taillight trim, silk matte exterior mirrors and 18-inch Thalia wheels. New color choices include Twilight Bronze and Flaminco Red.
